Faith Filled Church began as a spark on a college campus, an atmosphere charged with prayer, worship, and a hunger for God’s presence. While attending the University of North Texas, Pastor Joshua Okpara hosted simple worship nights with one purpose: to create a safe space where students could encounter God, be healed, and discover their identity in Christ.

What began as a small gathering quickly grew into bi-weekly worship nights impacting over 200 students at a time. For more than three years, hundreds were discipled, lives were transformed, and more than 2,000 college students were introduced to the faith, including many from non-Christian backgrounds.

On April 18, 2018, the Lord made the assignment clear: launch Faith Filled Church, a ministry birthed out of worship, built on purpose, and anchored in Genesis 1:26—the call to walk in Kingdom dominion.

From Campus Movement to Kingdom Mandate
As the ministry grew, so did the vision. Faith Filled Church shifted from simply reaching students to raising leaders, Kingdom men and Kingdom women equipped to influence culture and live on purpose. Our mission expanded to meeting both spiritual and practical needs, becoming a church that not only preaches the Gospel but embodies it through action.​
